Matthew, a primary care paramedic and firefighter, has been a member of the John Abbott College Paramedic Department since 2013. Alongside his commitment to educating our community, he brings a wealth of diverse expertise and a deep passion for teaching.

Matthew's paramedic journey has taken him across multiple provinces, including Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. This extensive experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the unique healthcare challenges in various regions. His dedication to delivering exceptional patient care has been honed through his work in a variety of settings, including emergency departments.
Beyond his role as a first responder, Matthew proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves as an infanteer with the Fusiliers Mont-Royal and the SD&G Highlanders.
On a personal note, Matthew is a proud father of three and cherishes quality time spent with his family at the cottage, where they create lasting memories together.
Additionally, as a member of the St-Lazare Fire Service, he continues to serve his community with unwavering dedication. His commitment to community well-being extends beyond the classroom, and his firsthand field experience enriches his teaching, offering students invaluable real-world insights.
